Former presidential press corps visit Samuel Nuamah's grave on 9th anniversary

The Ghanaian Times presidential correspondent, the late Samuel Nuamah, who died in a presidential press corps accident on August 20, 2015 was today remembered by his colleagues on the 9th anniversary.

Some members of the presidential press corps who covered the administration of former President John Dramani Mahama and who were in the same vehicle with Nuamah at the time of the accident but survived, were at the Osu Cemetery to commemorate nine years of the passing of their former colleague, Samuel Nuamah.

A brutal accident involving the presidential press corps on August 20, 2015, took the life of Nuamah at age 37.

He was the Ghanaian Times correspondent at the presidency. 

On that fateful day, a Ford GMC bus carrying the journalists crashed into the bush after it burst a rear tyre when the journalists were returning to Accra after covering a church event at Ho in the Volta Region, which was attended by the then President John Mahama.

Nuamah died on the spot.

Remembering him after nine years, his colleagues visited the late Samuel Nuamah's graveside on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
