The company has debunked claims that there was no constituted Interim Management Committee (IMC) and that the pendency of certain applications was hindering the formation of the IMC.

The company, in response to a press release issued by the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources regarding the ongoing dispute over the ownership of Adamus Resources Limited (Adamus Ghana), stated that the Ministry's press release was "very unfortunate and made in utter bad faith."

Adamus Australia explained that it had been seeking to remove Angela List as a director of Adamus Ghana since December 2021, but the Ministry had failed to support its efforts despite being informed of the irregular appointments made by Angela List.

The company also alleged that the Ministry had sided with Nguvu Mining Limited, a company owned by Angela List, and had ignored court orders and the rule of law in the matter.

Adamus Australia emphasised that it had never sold or transferred its 90 per cent shares in Adamus Ghana to Nguvu Mining Limited and called for a thorough and fair investigation into the matter.

The dispute between Adamus Australia and Nguvu Mining Limited has been ongoing since 2021, with both companies seeking control over Adamus Ghana. The matter is currently before the courts in Ghana and Australia.
