CWG Plc to showcase future of African innovation at Texcellence conference
CWG Plc, a technology solutions provider in Africa, will organise its technology and innovation conference, Texcellence 3.0 at the Balmoral Events Centre, Lagos, Nigeria on Friday.
This year’s event, themed ‘Revealing Tomorrow’, is set to bring together industry leaders, tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across Africa to discuss the continent's digital transformation and future trends.

Now in its third year, Texcellence has solidified its place as the largest platform for thought leadership and groundbreaking discussions around the integration of technology into various sectors across Africa.
A statement from the company said this year’s edition would focus on the evolving role of technology in finance, telecoms, government, and energy industries, alongside emerging trends in AI, automation, and digital infrastructure.
It said participants would hear from key industry leaders, including Mallam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullah, Director-General of NITDA; Karl Olutokun Toriola, Chief Executive Officer of MTN Nigeria; and Gbolahan Joshua, Group Chief Operating Officer of FCMB.
Additionally, global creativity expert, Fredrik Haren, would bring an international perspective as he shares insights on how creativity is fueling technological advancements in Africa, the statement added.
Texcellence 3.0 will also feature exhibitions from leading companies such as Mercedes Benz, Flutterwave, Redhat, and Finedge.
“These displays will offer attendees an exclusive look at innovations that are already making a tangible difference,” it added.

“From AI-driven solutions to transformative fintech products, participants will have the opportunity to see, touch, and explore the future of technology firsthand,” it said.
Texcellence 3.0 also presents opportunities for networking, connecting with startup founders or collaborating with industry veterans, and attendees will have access to Africa’s top tech leaders and innovators.
These connections could pave the way for partnerships and initiatives that will shape the continent’s digital future.
CWG Plc Group Chief Executive Officer/ Managing Director, Adewale Adeyipo, stressed the importance of Texcellence as a catalyst for driving Africa’s tech future.

Ghana’s representation
Leading the team from Ghana is CWG Ghana’s Managing Director, Harriet Yartey, the statement said.
In addition, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Telecoms, Dr Kenneth Ashigbey, will be sitting on a Government Parastals Conversation panel under the topic ‘Collaborative Innovation: Shaping Africa's Tomorrow Economy’.

The CEO of Inngen Ghana and President, Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH), David Gowu, will also make a presentation, the statement said.
