“Thank you all for an incredible working relationship, and I wish the Programme continues on the success and the structures we have built in order to achieve the shared objectives of GSFP."
Hajia Safia Mohammed, who is the current Deputy National Women's Organiser of the NPP, was appointed as the National Coordinator of GSFP in 2023 by ex-President Nana Akufo-Addo to replace the late Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah.
Since her assumption, Hajia Safia has worked hard to sustain and improve on the social intervention Programme, which now feeds over four million Ghanaian children in deprived public basic schools across the nation.
She is credited with streamlining the operations of GSFP and successfully introducing a new payment regime to ensure early payment of arrears to caterers.
