Herbert Mensah in court to fight for two kids with Ezanetor Rawlings

Reports reaching GraphicOnline indicate that businessman and former chairman of Kotoko Sporting Club, Herbert Mensah, has filed a suit in an Accra court to demand access to two children he has with Dr Ezanetor Rawlings, the daughter of Ex-President Jerry Rawlings.

Mr Herbert Mensah, according to sources, is praying the court to compel Ezanetor to grant him “reasonable access” to the kids.

This, “reasonable access”, GraphicOnline understands, will ensure the children spend their holidays and weekends in his Ghana or London homes.

Mr Mensah is also asking the court to compel Ezanetor to provide him with information regarding the education, health and well-being of the two kids, who, this website understands, are girls both below six years of age.

In a Facebook post, which seemed to confirm Mr Mensah’s suit, the businessman created the impression he had been forced to go to court.

Mr Mensah wrote: “What do you do when you have been wronged and instead of seeking a legal route for settlement you choose dialogue and it is ignored.

“This has happened to me and since the beginning of the year i have made 48 attempts (still counting) to communicate for resolution and only spoken 7 times (ignored, disrespected or selectively answered on other occasions)!

“Anyone who knows me will appreciate that i am a deep thinker and rarely act rashly or push disagreements to points of litigation. Indeed i believe that litigation should only be a last resort after you have tried and indeed foretold on more than 20 occasions.

“Sadly i now head for satisfaction and relief knowing the implications to many people’s lives and careers. It is truly sad when people allow bad advise, pride and arrogance to determine their present future.”

Mr Herbert’s suit, if confirmed, will come as a blow to Ezanetor, who recently won the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primary for the Klottey-Korley Constituency and whose campaign to follow in the footsteps of her father had been largely bereft of bad press until now.
