Nii Sackey I installed Ashifla-Akutuase, Agunor and Kwadzofutaa Mantse
Nii Sackey I has been installed the Ashifla-Akutuase, Agunor and Kwadzofutaa Mantse at Ngleshie Ashifla near Domeabra Obom in the Ga South Constituency.
Speaking at his swearing-in ceremony, the Divisional Chief of Ngleshie Ashifla, Nii Okudjeman I, called on leaders to exhibit a sense of responsibility in their duties which also come with personal development.
According to him, a good leader must provide vision and direction for his people.
“No matter how powerful or efficient we are as leaders, we cannot seek to do everything without empowering others,” Nii Okudjeman said.
In admonishing the new chief, Nii Okudjeman said he should allow integrity to precede his guiding principles to his subjects.
“Integrity builds trust and confidence in the administration of one’s work,” he said.
He urged him to be diligent in serving the people in the communities under him and further tasked him not to lord it over the people.
Nii Okudjeman also appealed to other chiefs and the people of the area to support the new chief.
Nii Sackey I expressed thanks to the Divisional Chief for his blessings and advice and pledged to work to develop his area.
Youth development
The Ashifla-Akutuase, Agunor and Kwadzofutaa Mantse said in as much as leadership must provide a conducive environment for the youth to grow, it behoved on the youth to be curious in life and be willing to learn and seek knowledge beyond the classroom to meet their future aspirations.
He urged them to strive to upgrade their skills in whatever field they have undertaken to make themselves marketable for job opportunities.
Present in the ceremony were the Queen mother of the Ngleshie Ashifla divisional stool, Naa Kwatieley Ofosueley I, the Ngleshie Ashifla Otaten Seitsr and Pokuase Dzasetse, Nii Oblidzah I and elders of Ngleshie Ashifla.
