A 31-year-old man has been arrested by the police for cultivating cannabis at Mangoase in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region.

The police picked 16 sacks of dried leaves believed to be Indian hemp from the farm at the time of his arrest.

The suspect, Vincent Lotsu, was arrested by the Kpando-based Marine Police during a routine patrol along the Volta Lake on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
