Policeman killed by armed robbers

A police lance corporal who was on an escort duty at Bogoso in the Western Region was killed by suspected armed robbers on Sunday.
Lance Corporal Duku Nicolas, with the Tarkwa Division was providing escort services to a gold refinery company at Bogoso when the robbers accosted them late Sunday.
The police have since arrested a total of 33 suspects mainly from the refinery company for interrogation, according to the Western Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olivia Adiku.
The robbers reportedly took away GH₵900,000.
