This was when President Akufo-Addo welcomed John Dramani Mahama, President-elect at the residence of the Presidency called the Villa on Monday. It was part of formalities at the Jubilee House. President-Elect Mahama, Vice President-Elect Opoku-Agyemang tour Jubilee House ahead of inauguration (PHOTOS)

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Monday welcomed President-elect John Dramani Mahama and Vice President-elect Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to the Jubilee House, the seat of the Presidency.

He took them on a tour of the residency and the offices in preparation for the swearing in on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

The visit enabled Mr Mahama and Prof. Opoku-Agyemang to familiarise themselves with the facilities and operations of the presidential complex, which will serve as their administrative base during their tenure.

President Akufo-Addo’s tenure ends at the close of day January 6, 2025.

The swearing-in ceremony, scheduled to take place at Black Star Square, will be attended by dignitaries, diplomats, and representatives from various sectors.

The two presidents were accompanied by Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei Oparfe, former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah and Special Aide to Mahama, Bawa Mogtari.
