Second Lady donates library books to Police Basic Schools

The Second Lady, Mrs Samira Bawumia has donated library books to Police Basic Schools to encourage the children to cultivate the habit of reading.

The donation forms part of her “Library-in-the-Box project”, an initiative which endeavours to provide books to schools.

During her interaction with the pupils, she encouraged them to ask questions about their experiences and surroundings.

She also hinted she would donate more library books will be donated to the Police Schools.

Mrs Bawumia was accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South, Mr Ahmed Arthur and the Metropolitan Director of Education, Mr Abanfo Stephen.
