Sunda Company donates to Noguchi
A Chinese business conglomerate in Ghana, Sunda International, and its associates has presented a truckload of toiletries to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR) to assist in its pioneering role in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.
The items include bags and boxes of powdered and antiseptic soaps such Doffi, Kleesoft Dr X, Medicated Soap and Softcare.
Presenting the items, the Director of Sunda International, Mr Victor Zhang, said the truckload of items was their widow’s might towards assisting the research institute to continue to work assiduously and effectively to deal with the pandemic in Ghana.

He explained that as a corporate entity together with its associates, which employs over 3,000 Ghanaians, it believed that any support for government’s efforts at dealing with the pandemic would go a long way to help its staff, customers and communities.

The Director of Noguchi, Prof Abraham Kwabena Annan commended the company for the donation which he said would go a long way to enhance its efforts.
He urged other corporate entities to emulate the kind gesture

In another development, Sunda company has instituted stringent preventive protocols at the various companies under the conglomerate to ensure that staff, management and customers do not transmit the Covid-19.
These companies include the Real Estate, the toiletries manufacturing companies and the diaper company which is the largest diaper manufacturing entity in West Africa.
The measures were part of instructions issued by the mother company in China when the first case of Covid-19 was reported in China.
