Vodafone Ghana develops new application
TELECOMMUNICATIONS Company, Vodafone Ghana has developed a new application that will serve its customers and other smartphone users in the country.

The Vodafone Appstore was developed with Ghanaian users in mind to serve them with all the local applications in the country.
The application, available on Google Playstore, makes it easier for consumers to know more about their balance and roaming history, promotions and plans, purchase packages, as well as have access to direct customer service.
Users can also share the application on the Vodafone Appstore with friends via SMS or Facebook as well as comment or rate them.
Smartphone users can get access to the application on IOS devices, android and windows.

Speaking at the launch in Accra, the Head of Strategy and Innovation at Vodafone Ghana, Mr Julius Owusu-Kyerematen, said the application had been carefully designed to meet the demands of customers and consumers.
According to him, a lot of the applications developed in the country lacked global audience, noting that “this application meets all standards and reaches an array of people globally.”
“Applications that have been developed locally give a lot of relevance than the international ones,” he said, and called on Ghanaians to take advantage of that to promote made-in-Ghana products.
