Akufo-Addo donates to Muslims

The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has donated assorted food items to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr Nuhu Sharubutu, at a ceremony in Accra.

Presenting the items on behalf of Nana Akufo-Addo, the National Nasara Coordinator of the NPP, Mr Kamal-deen Abdulai, congratulated Muslims on a successful Ramadan and said the items were Nana Akufo-Addo’s personal contribution towards the celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitr festival.

Receiving the items, Sheikh Dr Sharubutu thanked the flag bearer and said the items would complement others that would help make the Eid festival celebration a success.

He also prayed for a peaceful election in the country, come November.
