Akufo-Addo unites Hajia Fati, Afoko and Agyapong

They never saw eye to eye and were always in a mood to explode if one mistakenly stepped on the toe of another.

Their unhealthy rivalry had stood for quite sometime and no one really knew the reason behind Hajia Fati’s frosty relationship with Mr Paul Afoko, National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and Mr Kwabena Agyapong, General Secretary of the NPP.

Some speculated that the battle between Nana Akufo Addo and Mr Kwadwo Alan Kyerematen for the position of flag bearer might have fueled the cold-hearted attitude among them.

But no matter how badly the situation had escalated, one thing is now clear; Hajia Fati has finally weaved her way into the hearts of the two national executive members.

The unity among the three party loyalists was as a result of the victory of Nana Akufo-Addo in the October 18 NPP presidential primary.
