Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has held discussions with the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, Hiroshi Yoshimoto, and officials of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on ways to deepen cooperation between Ghana and Japan.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties and deepening cooperation in key areas, including digitalisation, fintech, artificial intelligence, flood control and methods to combat galamsey. 

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for collaboration in several areas of national development.
