He also said his administration would see to the construction of new roads and upgrade all the deplorable ones in the region as part of his plan to open up the region for more business transactions.

Dr Nduom said this when he addressed supporters of the party during his final campaign tour of the Ashanti Region.

He visited four constituencies, including Offinso South, Ahafo Ano South and West.

Dr Nduom also used his trip to inaugurate a new branch of Groupe Nduom (GN) bank at Tepa.

At every constituency visited, he spent about an hour with PPP supporters, educating them on how to vote in December 7.

Dr Nduom reminded them of their civic responsibility to cast their votes for any candidate of their choice and urged them not to look beyond the PPP when casting their votes on election day.

When he got to Offinso, Dr Nduom met with chiefs who appealed to him for support to build a community centre.

Dr Nduom gave them 200 bags of cement and two trips of sand.

He also promised to help the residents undertake many projects if he wins the election.

Change everywhere

Addressing the supporters at separate rallies, Dr Nduom said it was time for the electorate to show their anger at politicians whose bad governance had destroyed Ghana’s economy, adding "you must go out to vote for a competent person".

He said President John Mahama and his appointees had created a  "deep economic mess" in the country to the extent that businesses were collapsing, while the wellbeing of the people continued to retrogress.

"As a Ghanaian, you cannot sit down and fold your arms expecting things to change. You can bring that change when you vote for the PPP," he said.

According to Dr Nduom, it was only the PPP that had the vision and policies to redeem Ghana from bad governance, adding "if you vote for the PPP, we will turn the economy round in just four years".

Touching on what his party intended to do, should the PPP win the election, he said his administration would build a solid economy where there would be enough jobs for every youth.

"I have already done this with my company, the GN bank. In every district in Ghana, there is a branch of the bank where I have offered employment to many young graduates," Dr Nduom said.
