Effutu: NDC candidate commends voting process
In the Effutu Constituency in the Central Region, the NDC candidate for the parliamentary seat has commended what he describes as professional conduct by the security forces deployed in the constituency for the presidential and parliamentary polls.
He singled out the police and military personnel on duty for the professionalism displayed.

“Amidst all the challenges, the police and soldiers, including those detailed to me, have acted very professionally, though not armed, which is commendable……this did not occur in the previous years,” he said.
He, however, alleged an open sharing of money by the incumbent Member of Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin.
James Kofi Annan cited incidents at two communities to Graphic Online, insisting the practice has been widespread.
We were unsuccessful in getting Afenyo-Markin to respond.
