Daniel Kenu reports that as a man of many parts including a Reverend minister, an accountant and a banker, the vice running mate appealed to all other independent presidential aspirants and indeed other smaller parties to join forces with the APC to wrestle power from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and break the duopoly of NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The proposed alliance dubbed: "The Great Alliance," he said is to form a formidable political force to reshape the political landscape of the country and unlock the full potential of "fellow Ghanaians."

Among some of the proposals that the anti corruption campaigner is bringing on the "table" is to strengthen all anti corruption agencies and set up a task force that would coordinate all the activities of such institutions.

With a combined force, the two are expected to promote social justice and inequality.

Rev Mensah, also a lecturer, said together with Mr Ayariga they would create a brighter future for all Ghanaians irrespective of their political affiliation, tribe or religion.

Mr Ayariga whose birthday coincided with the unveiling ceremony said the new third force would win the elections "one touch."

However, he said if the APC goes alone, it would push the election into the second and eventually win.

He said the future of Ghana was the youth unfortunately they resorted to gambling because the was no vision for them.

According to him, as a result of the difficult economic condition, lots of Ghanaian youth were leaving the shores in search of Greener pasture.
