KEEA MP donates to organisation

 

The  Member of Parliament for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA), Dr Stephen Nana Ato Arthur, has made presentations to a number of organisations in his constituency.

The beneficiaries are the Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) and three other schools which received computers valued at GH¢10,000.00, a scholarship package worth GH¢5000.00 for students, GH¢30,000.00 for the infrastructure development of a school in a deprived community and the Municipal Police Command which received a desk top computer.

The disbursement was made from his share of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) and the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF). 

The Edinaman Senior High School, The Eguafo-Abrem Senior High School, the Komenda Secondary Technical Senior High School and the Komenda College of Education were the other beneficiaries of the computers.

Presenting the items at a short ceremony at the Municipal Education Office, Dr Ato Arthur said it had been his desire to resource organisations in the municipality to enhance their effective and efficient operations in rendering services to the people in the municipality.

He expressed the hope that his widow’s mite would be put to good use.

Receiving the computer for his office, the Municipal Director of the GES, Mr Gabrael Gbademor, commended Dr Ato Arthur for the gesture, and promised to use the computer for the purpose it was intended.
