NDC cautions public against fraudsters

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has observed with disquiet that for some time now, various acts of fraud have been perpetrated by some unscrupulous people using the names of senior members of the party.

 According to a statement from the party, the modus operandi of those fraudsters was to use the names of members of the executive committee of the party and other means, including social media, to dupe members of the public. 

The statement, signed by General Secretary of the NDC, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, said the party wished to distance itself from all such dastardly acts and advised the public to immediately report to the police any such conduct, act or persons purporting to be acting on behalf of any such senior member of the party with the view to making personal gains by way of money, favour or otherwise.
