New Marshallan officers take office
New officers of the Dansoman branch of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall have been inducted into office for the 2014 administrative year.

Dr Henry Awuviri was inducted as the Grand Knight of Council 71, while Sis. Margaret Fidelia Awumee was installed as Noble Lady of Court 63.
They were installed by the immediate past Supreme Knight, Sir Knight Derx Baffour, and Respected Lady, Sister Joana Essel.
In his acceptance speech, Grand Knight Bro Awuviri pledged to promote the interest of the noble order and ensure that members forged ahead in unity.
He promised to provide free medical screening for members and develop a strong database to enable members to easily assess information related to the noble order.
Bro. Dr Awuviri implored Marshallans to be abreast of the teachings of the church in order to explain them to their children.
He challenged them to take their spiritual life seriously and uphold the spirit of fraternity by providing business opportunities for the needy.
The Noble Lady, Sister Awumee, also pledged to promote the spiritual growth and welfare of the ladies.
