President John Mahama has defended his administration’s performance, stressing that the "government is steadily delivering, and credibly so, on the mandate it was given by the people of Ghana”.

The President was speaking Saturday at the 8th National Delegates Congress of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Early on, the General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) lashed out at President Mahama and the NDC, accusing them of poor and regressive leadership.
