Publish 'dumsor' timetable - Minority urges government
The Minority caucus in Parliament has urged the government to release a timetable for the ongoing load shedding (Dumsor) to allow people to plan their lives accordingly.
It expressed dissatisfaction with the government's continuous denial of the existence of load shedding, stating that such denial was no longer acceptable.

"We have received reliable information that dumsor will persist today at noon, and it's only fair that Ghanaians are informed," stated the minority spokesperson on energy, John Abu Jinapor, during a press briefing in parliament on Thursday.
Mr. Jinapor attributed the generation challenges to the government's inability to purchase sufficient fuel for some of the thermal plants due to financial constraints.
Referring to a recent incident where the entire city experienced a blackout, Mr. Jinapor emphasized that no government official had been forthcoming about the issue.
"The most the current government, led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, can do is to release the schedule of the ongoing dumsor, allowing people to plan their lives accordingly," he concluded.
