NDC Chair appeals to former party members to return
The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has called on former party members who have broken ties with the party to 'return home'.
He wants them to bury the hatchet in order to move forward as a united party.
Mr Ofosu-Ampofo who made the appeal while speaking at the 28th Anniversary flag raising ceremony at the party's headquarters in Accra Wednesday, said “I wish to use this opportunity to extend invitation to all those who for one reason or the other have broken ranks with the party to return home.”
He however, rendered an apology to individuals who might have been offended or betrayed by any member of the party.
“To anyone who feels offended, betrayed, slighted deliberately or inadvertently by any member of our party, I wish to sincerely apologise for and appeal that we bury our differences and move forward as a united party capable of winning power and building a better Ghana”, Mr Ofosu-Ampofo said.
The National Chairman said members should be proud of the party they belong to because the party has built and expanded the nation’s infrastructure for accelerated development.
