Only party agents of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) were present at the centre.

The presiding officer at the centre, Mr Samuel Kwesi Mensah told the Graphic Online that voting started at exactly 7am.

Accordingly to him, only the names of few eligible voters could not be found in the register.
