Two NPP Invisible Forces members arrested

Two members of the (Invisible Forces), a private support security of the New Patriotic Party have been detained by the police to assist in investigations into a chaotic incident that occurred at the party's headquarters Wednesday.

This was after the Accra Regional Police Command had given the party a 24-hour ultimatum to produce the suspects.

Speaking on Joy News, Thursday, the Accra Regional Police Command, ASP Afia Tenge said investigations were underway into the rampage and that suspects would be charged accordingly.

“We had the leadership of the NPP being led by John Boadu [Acting General Secretary] and they came with the two persons that they identified in the photograph, and as I speak to you they have reported to the police...” she said.

She called on eye witnesses to come forward with information that will assist the police in their investigations.

On Wednesday, the Asylum down headquarters of the party descended into chaos when the invisible forces chased journalists, some party supporters and also destroyed some properties.
