Even though there is still much uncertainty about the fight in the wake of the caveat by the Ga Traditional Council; Box Office Sports Promotions (BOSP), promoters of the fight are 100 per cent confident the bout will come on as scheduled tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium.
CEO of BOSP, Alex Ntiamoah Boakye, told the Graphic Sports that he had never challenged the Ga Traditional Council (GTC), under whose jurisdiction the fight venue, the Accra Sports Stadium, falls but had been misquoted in the media.
He explained that his outfit was still in negotiations with the council and he was sure he would receive positive results.
“We are negotiating with the council and we are close to reaching an agreement. The Media have often misquoted and misrepresented us at every turn but we are currently in talks and everything will be sorted out”, he stated.
The undercard includes a light-middleweight contest between Obodai Sai and Abolaji Rasheed, Manyo Plange and Joshua Barnor clash in a bantamweight contest, Prince Dzanie and Galley Cudjoe face-off for the National Bantamweight Championship, Giftcole Chiori faces Daniel Adjei Sowah in an International middleweight contest and Ahmed Saraku takes on Sadiq Musah in another middleweight contest.
