Mahatma maintains scoring form in Norway league

Ghanaian international, Mahatma Otoo, last Monday continued with his scoring form when he helped his Norwegian side, Sogndal, to consolidate their hold on top of the league log with a 3-1 win over Bryne FC.

It took the former Accra Hearts of Oak skipper just 15 minutes to register his name on the score sheet before Senegalese international, Babacar Sarr, doubled the lead three minutes later.

Sogndal, who still lead the pack with 38 points, look set to return to the top flight next season with Sandnes Ulf trailing them in the second spot with 32 points.

Bjorn Inge Utvik put the icing on the cake in the 43rd minute when he scored the third goal for the home side before half time.

Bryne clawed one back in the 63rd minute when Utvik scored an own goal during a goalmouth melee.
