Medeama hold WAFA in outstanding league match

Medeama SC held West Africa Football Academy to a goalless draw in an outstanding Ghana Premier League Week 17 clash at the WAFA Park, Sogakope. The fixture was rescheduled to allow Medeama honour their CAF confederation cup clash against MO Bejaia which ended 0-0 on June 29.

The hosts, WAFA dominated possession of the ball on the artificial turf but fell short on numerous occasions in the final third.
The point earned by each team after the stalemate did not affect their position on the league log.
Medeama are fifth on 27 points while WAFA lie in eighth place with 24 points.
WAFA will travel to play Techiman City in their next league match on Sunday while Medeama will play host to Dreams FC.
