Premier League: King Faisal fight back to earn draw with Aduana Stars
King Faisal fought their way back to pick a 1-1 draw against a ten-man Aduana Stars on Matchday two of the Premier League last Saturday.
Coach Slaviša Božičić’s side started the match against Aduana Stars on a bad note after Yahaya Mohammed slotted home a rebound for the visitors in the 41st minute.
King Faisal returned from recess with a determination to draw level and possibly win the game. The hosts piled pressure on Aduana Stars but couldn’t find the leveler.
Aduana’s quest to earn a vital win away from home was dealt a blow when Isaac Kwain was given his marching orders in the 66th minute of the game
However, King Faisal took advantage of their opponent’s numerical disadvantage when Benjamin Boateng’s close range shot beat Chelsea goalkeeper Joseph Adjei.
The hosts probed for the winner but couldn’t bury the chances that came their way.
The result moved King Faisal to 12th on the table with 1 point whilst Aduana sit just above them in 11th spot despite playing one less game.
