Blessing was the first to register his name on the score sheet in the fifth minutes to increase his season’s tally to eight but it took Mohammed another 70 minutes to score his seventh goal of the season.

The Scientific Soccer lads played a more attacking football and forced Aduana Stars goalkeeper, Joseph Addo to make some important saves until Zakaria Muminu scored the equalising goal in the 12th minute.

Ebo Mends scored in the second half for Liberty but Yahaya Mohammed cancelled the lead before Wahab Adams increased the tally in injury time when Derrick Sasraku headed home from a free-kick.

It was a good weekend for Dreams FC as they bounced back from last week’s defeat when they beat Hasaacas 2-1 at the Dawu Park.

Godfred Asante and Eric Gawu got the goals for Coach Charles Akonnor’s charges before Eric Bekoe pulled one back for the Giants of the West who suffered their sixth defeat of the season.

At the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast, defending champions Ashantigold gave away a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 with Ebusua Dwarfs.

The Soccer Miners took the lead in the 18th minute through Nuhu Fuseini's strike before Insaidoo equalised for Dwarfs in 66th minute.

At the Tema Stadium, Techniman City FC on Sunday held Tema-based Inter Allies FC to a 1-1 drawn game, writes Benjamin Xornam Glover.

Ebenezer Agyapong nodded home a pullout in the 24th minutes but an Evans Mensah corner kick which grace the post and later hit a defender of the visiting team cancel out the lead.

Inter Allies, having lost two aways fixtures on the road to Wa All Stars and Medeama  before Sunday's match, started on a good note attacking from all angles but the visitors with goalkeeper Richmond Ayi in post defended resolutely denying the homesters some goals.
