Substitute Derick Sasraku emerged the hero for Aduana Stars when he out-jumped the Liberty defence to direct Zakaria Mumuni’s free kick into the net during injury time to break the hearts of the host.

The  amazing attacking prowess of Latif Blessing was once again in full force when he shot the homesters ahead in the fifth minute only for his celebration to be cut short by Elivis Opoku who cancelled the lead in the 12th minute from a Richard Mpong brilliant cross in the box.

Liberty were always strong in the midfield battle with Tamimu Muntari and Daniel Kodie taking charge of affairs and and allowing Blessing and Ebo Mends to pile up the pressure including forcing some brave saves from goalkeeper Joseph Addo in post for Aduana.

Liberty came from the second half much stronger and created more chances including a beautiful effort by Benjamin Eshun who forced goalkeeper Addo  to stretch to punch the ball to safety.

Blessing kept tormenting the Aduana defence, and won a  a free kick at the edge of Aduna’s penalty box in the 65th and unmarked Ebo Mends towered above the head into the net.

Yahaya shot into an empty net after the ball was virtually pushed onto his path  by goalkeeper Eric Andoh in the 75th minute.

Just when Liberty were searching for the winner, Sasraku broke the hearts of the teeming fans when he scored late in injury time to give the visitors the maximum points.
