Toure, who left Kotoko last season for a foreign stint, could be joining the Bechem side who are determined to strengthen their squad in the second transfer window to boost their chances of survival in the elite league this season.

Bechem president, Kingsley Owusu-Achau, confirmed to the Graphic Sports yesterday that negotiations were underway to sign the Ivorian striker but said a deal had not been signed yet.

However, he was hopeful that a deal could be closed by the middle of the week.

Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak, have completed their first signing of former Liberty Professionals wing back, Kassenu Ghandi, in what appears their first catch for the second transfer window of the Premier League season.

The Phobians have agreed a two-year-deal for the player who returned from stints in Asia.

According to a Hearts source, the player was offered the deal following recommendations by the head coach, Kenichi Yashuhashi, who watched the player train with his team.

Ghandi was part of the Ghana team that made history when they won both the 2009 Africa Youth Championship and the FIFA U-20 tournament in Rwanda and Egypt respectively.

He made few appearances as substitute for the Black Satellites but still managed to attract some scouts from Asia.

Ahead of the registration deadline on June 4, the Phobians the source further indicated, would sign a centre-back and striker to close the season.
