Coach Bash to sue sports presenters
AshantiGold SC headcoach, Bashiru Hayford, has threatened to sue some radio stations and their sports presenters for defaming him in their programmes.

The under fire gaffer of the defending league champions, who recently put in a request to take his accumulated leave, said at the right time, those who made defamatory remarks about his work at AshantiGold will meet him in court.
"I have lined up some selected radio stations and sports journalists and very soon, they will hear from me in the courts. Instead of these radio stations doing due diligence and find out if those allegations against me by a section of the supporters were true or not, they decided to run with it.
At the appropriate time, we will meet in court”, he warned.
Coach Bashiru was addressing the media after his side held Tema- based , Inter Allies FC to a 1-1 draw at the Tema Stadium last Wednesday.
Some Ashgold supporters have alleged Coach Hayford have snatched the girlfriends of some of his players, an act that has created a state of uneasiness in the Ashgold camp.
"Those making the accusation should go on destroying people. At the right time, they will face my wrath. I have a family, I belong to a church, I have children.
What do they think their doing to my image.?, he asked.
Touching on the performance of AshantiGold so far, Coach Bashiru said the team was struggling because "that is how football is especially when a club wins a trophy or the league, the next season turns out with problems."
This is so because some of the players will leave and you will need to get new players. When that happens, team building becomes a problem”, he contended.
