Conte wants Ayew at Chelsea
Chelsea are eyeing a shock move for Swansea forward Andre Ayew.
The Ghana international, 26, has been targeted as a player to bolster Antonio Conte’s squad for his first Premier League season.
Conte has ruled out making mega-money moves for players in Ayew’s position but the ex-Marseille man could move for £12million.
Sunderland were also looking at a deal for him last season and he is still set to leave the Liberty Stadium this summer.
Swansea are weighing up a move for Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston as a replacement.
Baston, 23, impressed on loan at La Liga side Eibar last season and caught the eye of Francesco Guidolin.
Ayew joined Swansed from French side, Marseille on June 10, siging a four-year contract.
He scored his first goal on his debut against Chelsea in the Premier League and will go on to win the club’s Best Player as well as the Premier League Player in the month of August.
In his starting role for the Swans, Ayew also scored against Newcastle and Man United as well as provided assists to some of the crucial goals scored. —The Sun
