Muntari last Thursday wrote an apology letter to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) asking the entire nation to forgive him for fighting a Black Stars Management Committee member, Moses Armah (Mospacka), during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The entire Stars team were heavily criticised for their attitude in an appearance fees row with government, leading to their elimination at the group stage of the tournament.

Muntari's recent decision to tender in an apology to the nation in the wake up of the Stars qualification for next year's AFCON has sparked debate among Ghanaians, with many saying he just wanted to play in the tournament.

In an interview with the Graphic Sports Grant, who supervised the Stars victory over a World X1 side in the Vodafone Unity Match, spoke about the potential of selecting him for the Stars team.

"We have a team and if he is good for the team we will select him. I like him as an individual and he is a nice guy," Grant said.

Meanwhile, the GFA and coach Avram Grant are yet to officially announce whether or not they have accepted Muntari's apology.
