Hockey equipment for K’dua Sec Tech
The 1994 year group of the Koforidua Secondary Technical School (K’dua SecTech) last Saturday presented hockey equipment worth GH¢4,000 to their alma mater at a short ceremony.
The items, which included 14 hockey sticks and four balls, were presented on behalf of the group by Messrs Joseph Aboagye and Nathaniel M. Botchway, to the Assistant Headmaster, Mr Samuel Nii Adjei Larbi.
In his address Mr Adjei Larbi commended them for their commitment to support the development of lesser sports in the school.
He, however, urged them to interact with other old students to support the school in diverse ways during their Silver Jubilee in 2019.
He said the school lacked infrastructure and sports facilities to enhance smooth academic work and sports development, hence the need for the old students to come to the aid of the school.
Both Messrs Aboagye and Botchway took the opportunity to interact with the students and advise them to be disciplined and focused in their academic work to enable them to achieve their dreams in life.
They assured the headmaster of mobilising all members of their year group to support the school.
