Kotoko's stop-gap coach, Michael Osei will be taking charge of the side for the second time since the departure of Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.

The ex-Edubiase assistant coach, Osei will be supported by the club's Under-17 team coach as he makes a case for the Porcupine Warriors’ top job.

Victory in today's clash will come as a timely boost to both sides, especially with Kotoko lying 13th and only separated from 15th-placed Olympics by a single point on the 16-team league-log.

The cup match also risks both sides fielding their fringe players in a bid to preserve their premier league status with league games coming-up on Sunday.

Head Coach of the Wonder Club, Kassim Ocansey, will be counting on the guile of his experienced trio Dan Quaye, Godwin Attram and Richard Kingson, to win the trophy while Kotoko's Ahmed Toure, Emmanuel Clottey and Jackson Owusu will hope a victory would appease their fans.
