Joy Dadi buys Range Rover for winner of Banku-Powers rematch
The CEO of Joy Dadi Industries, Dr Takyi Manfred has presented a Range Rover 2013 edition to Landmark Promotions as the reward for the upcoming December 26 bout between Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku, and Michael Ayittey Powers Okine.
The vehicle, which has been branded in Joy Dadi colours, was presented to Mr Anthony Kermah of Landmark Boxing Promotion in Accra.
Banku fights Powers once again, in what has been dubbed ‘Repeat or Revenge’ at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on December 26.
In their first bout at the Accra Sports Stadium in May 2014, Powers lost what turned out to be a lop-sided bout and attributed his defeat to Banku being overweight in the Cruiserweight category held at the Accra Stadium.
This time around Powers, 38, has vowed not to lose twice to the same opponent, while Banku has pledged to make nonsense of Power’s rhetoric.
The bout will feature performances from musicians Shata wale and D.Black, with popular actor John Dumelo being the ring announcer.
