Kpengeh is new National Sports Authority boss

The Director of the Winneba Sports College, Mr Joe Kpengeh, has been appointed as the new Director- General of the National Sports Authority.

He takes over from Madam Alice Atipoe, who until recently, had been in an acting capacity for almost three years after Worlanyo Agra retired from that position.

Mr Kpengeh confirmed his appointment to Daily Graphic yesterday in  a telephone interview, but did not give details  about the appointment.

He,  however, explained that his appointment took immediate effect and said   he  would spell out his visions and plans after the official handing over.

Erasmus Adorkor, who until the appointment, was the deputy director general at the NSA, would be taking over as the boss of the Winneba Sports College.

Madam Atipoe would be heading to Civil Service Commission, while the chief accountant, Eric Banoeyele has been reassigned to the Accountant General’s Department.
