The Black Maidens thrashed Morocco 6-0 at the Accra Stadium last Saturday to complete a 10-0 aggregate win, after recording a 4-0 victory in the first leg a fortnight ago.

A brace from Abdul Rahman Barikisu and goals from Mukaramma Abdulai, Philicity Aduako, Sandra Owusu Ansah and Grace Asantewaa completed the rout.

Coach Evans Adotey's side will now play at the FIFA U-17 World Cup from September 30 to October 21 after picking one of the three qualifying slots for the continent.

Ghana remains the only African country to have reached the semi-finals of the U-17 women's competition following their bronze feat in Azerbaijan in 2012.

The Maidens, who were knocked out at the quarter-finals in the previous competition, advanced to the second round of the African qualifying campaign after Sierra Leone had pulled out.
