Medeama in do-or-die battle as they chase CAF Confederation Cup Money Zone
Tarkwa-based Medeama SC are in one of the most difficult situations in their continental pursuits as they encounter a formidable Memlodi Sundowns this afternoon at the Sekondi Stadium, Essipon, this afternoon without their Swedish tactician, Tom Strand.

Strand virtually abandoned the team shortly after leading the them to 1-3 defeat in Pretoria and subsequently flew to his native Sweden.
His action has left many wondering whether the 33-year coach had a different mission when he led the team to the South African country, particularly when one considers the tactics he employed in the closing stages of the match which saw the Ghanaian side surrender what a appeared a drawn advantage to that crushing 1-3 defeat.
