Participants actively jogged and walked, supported by brass band music from the Ayi Mensah toll booth to the Peduase Lodge on the Akwapim Ridge and back.  They also took part in aerobic sessions after the walk.

The project was initiated by Joy FM presenter, Lexis Bill, with the support of corporate bodies such as Toyota Ghana Limited, Graphic Sports, sportswear brand PUMA and Awake purified water Kasapreko Company Limited.

After the hectic exercise, the minister told journalist that he was delighted at the turnout and hoped the campaign for regular exercises would be extended to other parts of the country to engender a nationwide crusade for fitness and other positive lifestyle choices.

According to Lexis Bill, the next event would be held on the last Saturday of May and subsequently on the last Saturday of every month.
