Princilla Adubea — The leading scorer with eight goals

National Women’s League...24 Games, 76 goals

The ongoing National Women's League (NWL) seems to heading for a record-breaking goal scoring season as 76 goals have been recorded in just 24 matches at the end of Match Day 3 last weekend.

Since the season began three weeks ago, goals have been recorded at every match venue expect the Police Depot Park which recorded a goalless drawn game between Police Ladies and Soccer Intellectuals on the opening day.

Though she was not on the scoring sheet for Ampem Darkoa on Match Day 3, Priscilla Adubea's goals in the first two games have kept her in the lead as the top scorer with eight goals so far, with Fabulous Ladies' Alice Kusi chasing her with four goals.

Black Maidens and Northern Ladies' Mukarama Abdulai has three goals while 13 players including Ruth Anima (Ashtown), Samira Suleman (Hasaacas), Wasila Diwura-Soale and Josephine Boateng are all on two goals each, with 33 players also having a goal each to their names.

At the end of Match Day 3, Hasaacas remain on top of the Southern Zone with nine points while Prisons Ladies also top Northern Zone with nine points.
