He also assured them of a massive victory tomorrow when they encounter Inter Allies at the Len Clay stadium at Obuasi.

“We now have a young team who have started playing together for the first time. In our match against Accra Hearts of Oak, we were the better side but could not take our chances. And against Bechem United, we should have returned home with the three points at stake, but it was luck that eluded us, but there are better days ahead,” Mr Yakubu told the Daily Graphic in a telephone interview.

“Our loss to Bechem United was very painful because even after they scored against the run of play, we should have equalised and scored the match winner, but luck eluded us, causing us to return home empty-handed,” he bemoaned.

He said considering the splendid performances against Hearts in Accra and Bechem United at Bechem,New Edubiase would be the team to watch as the Ghana Premier League progresses.

“The league is still young. This is because we have played just three matches. We have already analysed our matches so far , and considering the talents of our young boys, I know that very soon, we will be considered as the dark horse in the league and bring the smiles back to the faces of our cherished supporters,” he added.

New Edubiase currently lie in 11th position on the league log and tied on three points with 12th placed Sekondi Hasaacas after three matches.
