NSA to settle light bills
The National Sports Authority says it has initiated efforts to settle all its electricity bills in a bid to ensure that power is restored to the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
A statement signed by the NSA’s acting Head of Public Relations, Frederica Mensah Davies, said the NSA acknowledges the concerns of the public with regard to the disconnection of power at the Baba Yara Stadium and was, therefore, making efforts to settle the bills.

“The NSA wishes to acknowledge the concerns of the general public, especially the sporting public, about the electric power disconnection at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi a couple of days ago.
“We wish to stress that the difficulty of outstanding payments and subsequent disconnection of electricity is not peculiar to Kumasi Sports Stadium alone. All the other major stadia in the country are in arrears and have been served notice of imminent disconnection in both Kumasi and Accra,” the statement said.
The NSA stated that efforts were underway to settle the bills and have power restored to the Baba Yara Stadium.
