#Number12: Referees Association suspends 74 members

The Referees Association of Ghana has provisionally suspended 74 of its members who were implicated in a match-fixing scandal instigated by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The acts by the referees captured in a documentary titled #Number12 included incidents of spot-fixing as well as pre-determining the outcome of Ghana Premier League matches, Women's League, Division One League and games in the MTN FA Cup.
According to a statement issued by the RAG, the fate of the 74 referees would be determined by its Disciplinary Committee in the coming weeks.
