Oly hold Kotoko

Accra Great Olympics yesterday held Kumasi Asante Kotoko to a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Before a  sparse home crowd, Kotoko played their hearts out but the Olympics defence led by Dan Quaye proved too difficult to penetrate.

In the fourth minute Olympics forward, Frank Okai had a clean chance but blew the chance away.

Prince Baffoe of Asante Kotoko  came close  but  former Black Stars goalie, Richard Kingson, parried the ball to safety.

The story was almost the same in the second half  but it was Olympics who took the fight to their opponents but failed to find the net.
