A press release posted on the club’s website and which was signed by the former manager read, “we want to thank his Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for the opportunity he gave us to serve Asanteman. It’s a unique privilege to have represented this great institution”.

Mr Nti and his team further expressed appreciation to the teeming supporters, the technical team and players for their unflinching support during their three-year term of office.
They also thanked sponsors of the club; officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and all stakeholders of the game.

Opoku Nti headed Kotoko’s management team in the last three years under the Paul Adu Gyamfi-led board of directors but were both dissolved last week by His Royal Majesty.

Dr Kwame Kyei has since been appointed as the Cheif Executive to steer the affairs of the club during the upcoming season.
