Otumfuo commends 4 Garrison

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has commended officials of the 4 Garrison Tennis Club for investing in tennis and making steady growth in the sport despite its neglect.

He singled out  the President of the club, Samuel Ampadu-Kyei (Kyikyiss) for praise, saying under him,  the sport has attracted a lot more  of  the youth who have received media publicity.

“I am even considering adding tennis to my golfing career because it is becoming more attractive by the day and I am happy to see a lot of serious people running the sport,” Otumfuo told officials of the Ghana Tennis Federation and the regional body after last Saturday’s final of the National Ranking which was won by Pascal Ziyab.

The Asantehene commended the Daily Graphic  for adding a lot of ‘flavour’ to the otherwise ‘dry’ reportage of the game which has always caught his eyes.
